For accepting with his charge HIGHLY EXPLOSIVE to run in the above race while under medication, Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/-. Subsequently, the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn.

At the conclusion of an enquiry after the last race Jockey Sk Zaffar Riaz, the rider of OATH OF VALOUR, pleaded guilty to the charge of ‘unsatisfactory riding’ (Rule 161(ii)) in that when in clear running and while challenging the winner during the final 100 metres of the race he failed to infuse adequate vigour to his riding. The Stewards while deciding on the penalty took into consideration the jockey’s record and his voluntary submission of guilt, decided to suspend him from riding in races on 22nd , 25th , 29th November and 2nd December, 2014. Mr. Sk Zaffar Riaz was informed of his right to appeal.

ch m ARDENT N GRACEFUL was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Monday, 10th November, 2014 and found to be lame on right fore. Tr. Sabeel Shariff was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
