APICAL FINALA (Gajender Singh) was fractious while being stalled.

AASHIQUI (N S Parmar) which was fractious while being stalled was slow to begin.

FOLLOW THE DREAM (App Jorawar Singh) and NO POLITICS PLEASE (Vinay Jaiswal) were slow to begin.

Jockey P Kamlesh when afforded an opportunity in the presence of Tr. S S Habbu to explain the running of his mount MEET THE LEGEND stated that he was instructed to place his mount in 2nd/3rd position and to do his best on entering the straight. However, he was unable to follow the instructions as the gelding was slow to begin and when approaching the 800 metres he was momentarily hampered due to a tightly packed field, thereafter when making progress on the outside the gelding temporarily lost its stride when jumping a shadow at the 300 metre marker. However, he was of the opinion that the incidents at the 800 and 300 metres markers had no bearing on the performance of the animal. Tr. Mr. S S Habbu concurred with the opinion of the jockey and stated that the gelding which sweats freely was today noticed to have sweated excessively which may had had an effect on the performance. Other than that he could give no plausible explanation for the poor performance but informed the Stipendiary Stewards that he would keep his charge under observation and report ailment,
