b c BAZUKA (Pintu Das) was examined by the Veterinary Officer before the start of the race and found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances the colt was withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. C Gleich was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

Tr. Vikash Jaiswal when afforded an opportunity to explain the improved performance of his charge DANCE IN CHINA as compared to its previous run in Race No. 125 on 17th January, 2015 where it finished off board, stated that the horse ran in Race No. 125 after a lay off of more or less two months which was due to a cut injury on its hind leg. Further, that race was for horses Rated 21-46 unlike today which was for horses Rated 1-26. He continued by stating that in today’s race his charge was allowed to steal the race from the other runners by taking a long lead in the middle stages of the race. The Stipendiary Stewards noted his explanation.
