CLEAR OPPORTUNITY (App Munna Alam) and DANCEHALL DAYS (App Hindu Singh) were fractious in their respective stalls.

SIGNIFICANT (App Ranidan Singh) which was fractious while being stalled was slow to begin.

Soon after the start App Munna Alam, the rider of CLEAR OPPORTUNITY, drawn 6 was momentarily unbalanced when MISTER POSITIVE (Vinay Jaiswal, drawn 8) shifted ‘inwards’ and ma de contact with his mount. In this incident SOKUDO (Dashrath Singh) travelling along side was momentarily inconvenienced.

An enquiry was held immediately after the running of the race with particular reference to the fall of b m AMARILLA (C Alford) approaching the 800 metres. After due enquiry it was established that the fall was accidental and no blame could be attached any rider. On immediate veterinary examination the mare was found to have sustained fracture on its left fore. Under the circumstances the mare was euthanised on humanitarian grounds. Jockey C Alford was examined by the Medical Officer and declared fit to continue with his engagements for the day.

The Veterinary Officer reported that KWAN YIN returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. Rutherford Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
