AASHIQUI (Afzal Khan) was fractious while being stalled. HEAD HUNTER (Kiran Naidu) was fractious in its stall. SIGNIFICANT (App Ranidan Singh) was slow to begin. CLEAR OPPORTUNITY (Shailesh Shinde, drawn 2) was inconvenienced when HEAD HUNTER (Kiran Naidu, drawn 5) shifted ‘inwards’ some distance after the start. Jockey Shailesh Shinde when afforded an opportunity to explain the running of his mount CLEAR OPPORTUNITY, stated that he was instructed to position his mount well up with the field and to do his best thereafter. However, unfortunately he was inconvenienced by HEAD HUNTER (Kiran Naidu) as the start was effected, as such, he was unable to comply with the trainer’s instructions. The Stipendiary Stewards noted his explanation. Jockey Afzal Khan, the rider of AASHIQUI, was reprimanded for the indifferent handling of his mount throughout the race. |
