NO POLITICS PLEASE (Vinay Jaiswal) was examined by the Veterinary Officer behind the starting stall and found to have sustained cut injury on its left hind. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

TORINO (A Sandesh) was fractious in its stall.

An enquiry was held immediately after the running of the race with particular reference to the fall of Jockey P S Chouhan (ANASSA) approaching the 1000 metres. After due enquiry it was decided that the Judge’s placings will remain unaltered and hence the “All Clear” signal was hoisted. However, the enquiry continued after the last race where App Ranidan Singh, the rider of KWAN YIN, was found guilty to the charge of “careless riding” under Rule 161(i) of the RCTC Rules of Racing in that KWAN YIN ridden by App Ranidan Singh, drawn 10 came in sharply on jumping out of its stall thereby crowding the horses on his inside namely XIPEN (App Jorawar Singh), ANASSA (P S Chouhan), PINBALL WIZARD (Arman Khan) and TORINO (A Sandesh) travelling along the rails.

In this incident Jockey P S Chouhan was unseated from his mount. The Stewards after due deliberations decided to suspend App Ranidan Singh from riding in races on 22nd, 26th, 29th August and 2nd September, 2015 for careless riding. The apprentice was informed of his right to appeal.

Jockey P S Chouhan was examined by the Medical Officer who declared him unfit to fulfill his remaining riding engagements for the day.

The Veterinary Officer reported that :-

a) STAND APART returned with cut injury on right hind.

b) ANASSA returned with multiple cut injuries on both hind.

c) INBALL WIZARD returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. Shafiq Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
