ch m SONG STRESS, an acceptor in the above race was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Friday, 4th September, 2015 and found to be suffering from a urinary infection. Under the circumstances the mare was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Jasbir Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

TREASURE ISLAND (App Zarar Alam) which was fractious in its stall veered out as the start was given.

Some distance after the start ETERNAL INSTINCT (Md Imran) travelling on the rails shifted ‘outwards’ for no apparent reason causing interference to RAW SILK (S Zervaan) travelling on the far side. At a subsequent enquiry Jockey Md Imran was shown the CCTV replay of the race and fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/- for shifting ground for no apparent reason. Further the jockey was cautioned that should he continue to ride in a similar manner in future, appropriate action would be taken against him.

Jockey S Zervaan, the rider of RAW SILK, reported that his mount was inclined to ‘lean outwards’ in the concluding stages of the race.
