Approaching the 300 metres b f SOVIET DANCER (App Hindu Singh) travelling on the rails lost some ground when checked by its rider. At a subsequent enquiry App Hindu Singh and Jockey Shezad Khan were interviewed and after repeatedly viewing the CCTC replay of the race it could not be established whether the incident was caused by ANOTHER GLORY (Shezad Khan) which was making progress on the outside of the filly had momentarily shifted ‘in’ when not sufficiently clear of the other runner or whether SOVIET DANCER had shifted ‘outwards’ over the heels of ANOTHER GLORY. However, the Stipendiary Stewards cautioned both jockeys to exercise adequate control over their respective mounts in future.
