Racing Incidents

YEREVAN (Shezad Khan) which was fractious while being stalled was slow to begin.

AUBERON (Sandeep Rajput) was fractious in its stall.

BOLD AS BRASS (Shailesh Shinde) was slow to begin.

Approaching the 300 metres VAANI (Rajinder Singh) travelling along the rails was checked by its rider and stumbled when EXEMPLARY (B Nikhil) improving on its outside shifted ‘in’ for no apparent reason. At a subsequent enquiry Jockey B Nikhil was shown the CCTV replay of the race and fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/- for shifting ground when not adequately clear of the other runner.

Jockey Sandeep Rajput, the rider of AUBERON, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for excessive use of the whip (1st offence).
