Racing Incidents

TRANSCENDENT (B Nikil) was fractious while being stalled.

IVY (A Ashhad Asbar) was fractious in its stall.

HURRICANE ALERT (Surjeet Singh) which was fractious in its stall jumped awkwardly ‘outwards’ from the gates.

Jockey Dashrath Singh, the rider of FITE OF HONOUR, reported that his mount was inclined to hang ‘out’ throughout the running of the race and in spite of his best efforts the colt negotiated the bend wide. Tr. Bharath Singh was advised to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with his charge again.

SANJIT (Sandeep Rajput) which negotiated the bend wide further drifted to the outer rails under the use of the whip. At a subsequent enquiry Jockey Sandeep Rajput was shown the CCTV replay of the race and advised to refrain from unnecessary use of the whip.

The Veterinary Officer reported that HURRICANE ALERT returned with a gum injury.
