Racing Incidents

AITHOPS (Rajinder Singh) and SWEET SUSPENSE (App Hindu Singh) were fractious while being stalled.

RANI THEA (Mohit Singh) which was fractious while being stalled was slow to begin.

COMBINED OPERATION (Md Imran) w as slow to begin.

b g SARTAJ (Vikash Tamang) trailed the field home. On examination of the gelding immediately after the race the Veterinary Officer reported that it was lame on its right fore. Tr. Sabeel Shariff was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer and shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.

The saddle of LUCKY STREAK (B Nikhil), the winner of the race, was observed to have shifted back during the concluding stages of the race. At a subsequent enquiry Jockey B Nikhil reported that he was unable to ride the colt to complete advantage due to the saddle shifting back. Subsequently Tr. Ms. Arti Doctor was fined a sum of Rs.2,000/- for faulty saddling.
