b f I ME N MYSELF (Md Imran) was examined by the Veterinary Officer at the saddling enclosure and found to have lacerated wounds on its hind quarter. Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn on veterinary grounds prior to the horses entering the parade ring. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

OATH OF VALOUR (Afzal Khan) and FITE OF HONOUR (Dashrath Singh) were fractious in their respective stalls.

Immediately after the running of the race an enquiry was held with particular reference to the fall of Jockey Afzal Khan from his mount OATH OF VALOUR approaching the 400 metres. The Stipendiary Stewards being satisfied that the incident had no bearing on the immediate placing of horses by the Judge, the “All Clear” signal was ordered to be hoisted. However, the enquiry was continued after the last race where Jockeys Mohit Singh (KAARTIKEN) and Afzal Khan were interviewed by the Stewards and it was established that Jockey Mohit Singh in his endeavour to make progress shifted his mount ‘outwards’ to get a clear run causing OATH OF VALOUR galloping on his outside to clip heels of KAARTIKEN and momentarily stumble thereby dislodging its rider Jockey Afzal Khan. Jockey Mohit Singh pleaded the guilty to the charge of careless riding (Rule 161(i)) and, therefore, was suspended from riding in races on 24th, 27th November and 1st & 5th December, 2015 and was informed of his right to appeal.

Jockey Vinay Jaiswal, the rider of LUCK LUCK LUCKY, reported that he was hampered by the rider less horse (OATH OF VALOUR) approaching the 400 metres onwards, as such he was unable to ride his mount to complete advantage.
