Racing Incidents

NOVERRO (Dashrath Singh) was fractious while being stalled.

AMBROSE (D K Ashish) was fractious in its stall.

MOUSSAEIF (Sk Zaffar Riaz) was slow to begin.

ADZUKIS (C Alford) was observed to run an erratic course for some distance passing the distance post.

An objection was lodged by Jockey P S Chouhan, the rider of SPEEDY GONSALVES placed 2nd by the Judge against Jockey Dashrath Singh, the rider of NOVERRO placed 1st by the Judge on the grounds of “ interference in the last 250 metres when Dashrath Singh started using his whip with the right hand he bumped me and again in the last 100 metres he bumped me whereby my horse lost its rhythm and I lost a certain race”. The Stewards after interviewing both Jockeys P S Chouhan and Dashrath Singh and viewing the CCTV replay of the race decided to up hold the objection and ordered the revised placings as under :-

NOVERRO - 2nd
CRONOS - 3rd
PRESENCE - 4th
ADZUKIS - 5th
