dk b m LUCK LUCK LUCKY (Imran Chisty) was examined by the Veterinary Officer behind the barrier before the start and found fit to race. The mare was examined after the race and found to be trotting stiff on hind. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed not to accept with his charge until certified by the Veterinary Officer.

FLYING BOY (Md Islam) and OATH OF VALOUR (Sk Zaffar Riaz) were fractious while being stalled.

TEMPLE RUN (B Mahesh) and ATHEIST (Dashrath Singh) were slow to begin.

An enquiry was held immediately after running of the race with particular reference to the fall of Jockey Surjeet Singh from his mount LOVELY MAGIC approaching the distance post. As the fall did not affect the placing of horses by the Judge the ‘All Clear’ signal was hoisted. The enquiry continued after the last race and at the conclusion it was established that both Jockey Md Islam (FLYING BOY) and Jockey Surjeet Singh had momentarily allowed their mounts to shift ‘in’ and ‘out’ respectively causing LOVELY MAGIC to stumble thereby unbalancing Jockey Surjeet Singh who fell. Jockey Surjeet Singh is currently under medical treatment and observation.

Jockeys Vikash Tamang (GARARO), Md Imran (CARNIVAL POINT), Pintu Das (KAARTIKEN) and Sk Israil (COMEDIAN) were fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/- each for failing to improve their position in the early and middle stages of the race when they had every opportunity to do so. They were further cautioned that should they continue to ride in similar manner in future, they would be dealt with appropriately.
