Racing Incidents

LEOPARD CREEK (Dashrath Singh) and OPHION (P S Chouhan) were fractious while being stalled.

SINGULARITY (Shailesh Shinde, drawn 5) was inconvenienced when CHINAMAN (App Ranidan Singh, drawn 4) jumped awkwardly ‘outwards’ from its stall and thereafter approaching the 800 meters was once again inconvenienced when CHINAMAN shifted ‘outwards’ for no apparent reason.

Approaching the 400 metres CHINAMAN (App Ranidan Singh) was shifted ‘out’ by its rider to avoid clipping the heels of SOVERIGN COIN (Arman Khan) and thereafter was observed to maintain an erratic course for some distance. At a subsequent enquiry Tr. Shafiq Khan, master trainer to App Ranidan Singh, was informed that the apprentice would not be permitted to ride in races framed for all three year old horses and that the apprentice was required to report to Jockey Coach Mr. P Alford for appropriate guidance.
