KABINI (Shailesh Shinde) was extremely fractious in its stall and sustained a severe cut injury on its right hind stifle joint region. Under the circumstances the mare was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Bharath Singh was advised not to accept with his charge until passed fit by the Veterinary Officer and shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

HEAD HUNTER (Sk Israil) was fractious while being stalled.

SNOW WHITE (Dashrath Singh) was fractious in its stall.

MIRACULIX (S John) which was very fractious in its stall was examined by the Veterinary Officer who declared the mare fit to race and was-restalled.

AZZRAQ (Joy Chinoy) which was fractious in its stall jumped awkwardly ‘inwards’ as the start was given.

App Jorawar Singh when afforded an opportunity to explain the running of his mount XIPEN stated that he was instructed to position his mount in a comfortable position on the rail side. As he was drawn in Stall 12 he took some time to work his way towards the rails and also due to the fact that the initial pace of the race was very fast he was positioned towards the rear of the field. However on entering the straight the mare made much progess. His explanation was noted.
