Racing Incidents

ABBEVILLE (C Alford) was fractious while being stalled.

ABBEVILLE (C Alford) was held up from making progress between the 700 metres and 600 metres when SIMPLY ROYALE (P Kamlesh) travelling in front kept an erratic course for some distance and thereafter ABBEVILLE was checked by its rider passing the 400 metres when attempting to force a passage between SIMPLY ROYALE and the rails. At a subsequent enquiry both jockeys were interviewed and Jockey P Kamlesh was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course and Jockey C Alford was reprimanded for forcing a passage when there was insufficient room to do so.

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SANS PRIX, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/ - for excessive use of the whip (1st offence).

The Veterinary Officer reported that BACAARDI (A Sandesh) returned to the unsaddling enclosure without its left fore shoe.
