When afforded an opportunity to explain the running of his mount ANBIORN, Jockey C Alford)stated that he was not prominently positioned in the early and middle stages of the race due to the crowding of the field and on entering the straight he opted to choose the inner path of the field for a passage as he expected the field to split open, however, as the field did not split he was hampered for room and thus was unable to ride his mount to complete advantage during the final stages of the race. The Stipendiary Stewards after repeatedly viewing the CCTV replay of the race noted his explanation.

Trainer Mr. Bharath Singh when afforded an opportunity to explain the improved performance of his charge SHOURISHA (A Ashhad Asbar), the winner of this race, as compared to its previous run in Race No. 142 stated that he was pleasantly surprised with the victory of the horse and further stated that Race No. 142 which was run over a distance of 1400 metres may have been too soon a race considering that the horse had performed over a distance of 2200 metres in its previous run. Other than this he had no other plausible explanation for its fine and unexpected performance today. The Stipendiary Stewards while noting his explanation informed Mr. Bharath Singh of his responsibility to ensure that his charges run with the deg ree of consistency.
