Racing Incidents

ch m SCARTELLA, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Wednesday, 16th March, 2016 and found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances the mare was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. D M David was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

FOREST HILLS (C Alford), FLOURISHING MOVE (App Ranidan Singh) and CITY HEIGHTS (Arman Khan) were fractious while being stalled.

CRONOS (B Mahesh) and BENGAL KING (Gajender Singh) were slow to begin.

Jockey A Ashhad Asbar, the rider of DAKOTA DREAMER, reported that his mount was not striding fluently throughout the race as it repeatedly changed legs. Tr. Manvendra Singh was advised to get his charge examined by the Veterinary Officer and report ailment, if any. Subsequent to the race day the Veterinary Officer reported that DAKOTA DREAMER was found to be lame on left fore. Tr. Manvendra Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

Jockey B Mahesh, the rider of CRONOS, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for excessive use of the whip (1st offence).
