COOL JUDGEMENT (Arman Khan) was examined by the Veterinary Officer at the saddling enclosure and found to be bleeding from the mouth. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary grounds prior to the parade of starters in the parade ring. Tr. R W Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

ch g JORELL (Sandeep Rajput) which was extremely fractious in its stall was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to have sustained cut injury on left hind. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

Some distance after the start the left stirrup leather of SNOW WHITE (C Alford) snapped as such the Jockey was unable to ride his mount to complete advantage. As the equipment was in serviceable condition no further action was taken.

Approaching the 400 metres SNOW WHITE (C Alford) making progress in the middle of the field was buffeted for room when SYLVANA (Mudasser Nazar) and LAND OF GLORY (Shailesh Shinde) shifted ‘outwards’ and ‘inwards’ respectively. At a subsequent enquiry Jockey Mudasser Nazar and Shailesh Shinde were reprimanded for failing to keep their mounts on a straight course.
