b g NO POLITICS PLEASE was examined by the Veterinary Officer behind the starting gates and found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was informed not to accept with his charge until it was certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

LOMBARDO (App Munna Alam) was fractious while being stalled.

COCOANUT (Ranidan Singh) was fractious in its stall.

b f AZZRAQ (App Dheeraj Singh) which finished off the race detached from the field stood flat footed as the start was given and on jumping out from its stall refused to raise a fluent gallop for some distance. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter.

App Ranidan Singh, the rider of COCOANUT, was severely reprimanded for not exercising adequate control over his mount consequently allowing the colt to enter the home stretch wide off the field thereby placing it in a disadvantageous position. The apprentice was further instructed to report to Jockey Coach Mr. P Alford for guidance.

Jockey Sk Zaffar Riaz, the rider of b g FIBONACCI SEQUENCE, was fined a sum of Rs. 10,000/- for the unsatisfactory and indifferent handling of his mount during the race in that he made no effort to maintain the advantageous position he gained soon after the start and allowed the gelding to drop out of contention in the early and middle stages of the race and further on entering the straight he handled his mount in a very indifferent manner. The Jockey was further advised that should he ride in a similar manner in future he would be reported to be Stewards for appropriate action. Tr. Mr. Javed Khan was informed that the future running of the gelding would be closely monitored.
