Racing Incidents

The tongue strap used on b f AZZRAQ (Dashrath Singh) came off while being loaded into its stall. As there was insufficient time to replace the equipment, the filly was permitted to run without tongue strap.

WINDS OF THE OCEAN (Sk Israil, drawn 5) which was slow to begin made contact with AZZRAQ (Dashrath Singh, drawn 6) which jumped awkwardly from the gates.

Jockey Dashrath Singh, the rider of AZZRAQ, reported that his mount was inclined to run green throughout the running of the race.

App Hindu Singh, the rider of RESOLUTION, reported that his mount was inclined to hang ‘out’ during the final stages of the race. Tr. Manvendra Singh was advised to take appropriate remedial measures.
