MAGIC IN THE AIR (App N B Kuldeep) was slow to begin.

An objection was lodged by Jockey S Zervaan, the rider of BUBBLY BELLINI placed 2nd by the Judge against Jockey David Allan, the rider of IN THE SUNRISE placed 1st on the grounds of “interference in the last 200 metres whereby the winner shifted out into me and bumped me, because of which I lost some ground, my mount came back with a run and lost just by a nose but for the interference, I would have won the race”. The Stewards after interviewing Jockeys S Zervaan and David Allan and viewing the CCTV replay of the race decided to up hold the objection and ordered the revised placings as under. The “All Clear” signal was hoisted :-

The Veterinary Officer reported that ADALICIA (P S Chouhan) returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. Vijay Singh was informed not to accept with the mare until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
