When afforded an opportunity to explain the improved performance of her charge b g SWARAJ as compared to its previous outings in Race No. 106 of the ensuing season where in it finished unplaced, Tr. Ms. Arti Doctor stated that :-

a) The gelding was running in the lower class on demotion.

b) The rider was claiming 4 kgs allowance.

c) The other participants in the race were currently not having any winning form.

d) The stable did not fancy the gelding’s chance to win this race as her charge did not have any winning form and hence she was pleasantly happy with the victory. The Stipendiary Stewards noted her explanations.
