ch g THE STRADLE, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Tuesday, 21st February, 2017 and found to be lame on right fore due to a painful capped elbow. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Vijay Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

ASHI NANGSEY (App R S Bhati) was slow to begin.
