Racing Incidents

CADMAN (Neeraj Rawal) and OPHION (S John) were fractious while being stalled.

An objection was lodged by Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of CADMAN placed 2 nd by the Judge against Jockey Dashrath Singh, the rider of SERENDINE placed 1 st on the grounds of “interference in the last 50 metres whereby the winner had intimidated and bumped me due to which I lost the race and as it was a very close finish but for the interference, I would have won”. The Stewards after interviewing Jockeys Neeraj Rawal and Dashrath Singh and viewing the CCTV replay of the race decided to over rule the objection. The Judge’s placings remain unaltered. The “All Clear” signal was hoisted. The objection fee deposited by Jockey Neeraj Rawal was forfeited.
