Racing Incidents

SIGNIFICANT (App Sujit Kr. Paswan) jumped awkwardly from the gates.

QUATRO (App Hasib Alam) was slow to begin.

Jockey Akash Rajput, the rider of STUDIOFIFTYFOUR, reported that in spite of his best efforts the gelding was inclined to lean ‘in’ during the middle stages of the race.

The Veterinary Officer reported that LUCKY STREAK, returned without its left fore shoe.

When afforded an opportunity to explain the improved performance of his charge GLORIOUS RUN as compared to its previous outing in Race No. 188 run on 15th March, 2017 Tr. H S Bath stated that :-

a) Though finishing 11th in its previous run the verdict between the horses was not far between.

b) The gelding has always performed well over the shorter sprints i.e., between the 1100 & 1200 metres as against Race No. 188 run over 1400 metres.

c) The stable was happily surprised with the win.

The Stipendiary Stewards noted his explanations.
