b f ZANDRA, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the evening of 1 st August, 2017 and found to be suffering from pyrexia (fever). Under the circumstances the filly was permitted to be withdrawn. Tr. Jasbir Singh was advised not to accept with the filly until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

gr g DESERT CAT, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer at 1.20 P.M. on 2nd August, 2017 and found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. D M David was advised not to accept with the gelding until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

STYLE (Hindu Singh) was fractious while being stalled.

HIBIKI (B Mahesh) was extremely fractious while being stalled. In view of its behaviour Tr. Raunak Banerji was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

Soon after the start TIBETAN (App Sujit Kr Paswan) turned around and took no practical part in the race. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter.

Jockey Hindu Singh, the rider of STYLE, reported that his mount was inclined to hang ‘out’ passing the distance post.

The Veterinary Officer reported that DIXIE DIAMOND returned without its left hind shoe.
