Racing Incidents

b f MRS WILLY NILLY, a declared starter in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Tuesday, 26th December, 2017 and found to be suffering from Pyrexia (fever). Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. H S Bath was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

MILFORD SOUND (Hindu Singh) was fractious while being stalled.

JORELL (Md Imran) was slow to begin thereby losing a couple of lengths at the start. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.

Approaching the distance post MAJOR COLOURS (App P Vikram) and MILFORD SOUND (Hindu Singh) were inconvenienced when ROYAL ONE (Sk Zaffar Riaz) shifted ‘outwards’ when placed under pressure with the whip. At a subsequent enquiry Jockey Sk Zaffar Riaz was shown the CCTV replay of the race and fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/- for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
