CELTIC COMMANDER (App Rupal Singh) was fractious while being stalled.

TAHMINA (App P Vikram) which was slow to begin ran detached from the field throughout the race. Tr. Jasbir Singh was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work and was capable of a better performance.

An enquiry was held immediately after the running of the race with particular reference to the fall of Jockeys Ranidan Singh (ADAMANTIUM) soon after the start and B Mahesh (RISING FROM ASHES) some distance after the start. At the conclusion of the enquiry it was established that :-

a) ADAMANTIUM (Ranidan Singh) jumped awkwardly ‘outwards’ from the gates and dislodged its rider.

b) RISING FROM ASHES (B Mahesh, drawn 2) which was slow to begin and thereafter did not raise a fluent gallop brushed against the inner rails and dislodged its rider.

As both the incidents were accidental and no blame could be attached to any one, the “All Clear” signal was ordered to be hoisted.

The Starting Stall Certificate in respect of ADAMANTIUM has been revoked by the Starter and in respect of RISING FROM ASHES, Tr. J E Mckeown was advised not to accept with his charge until it was shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race.
