AL TO VI TO (App P Vikram) ran loose for some distance from the starting gates prior to the stalling of horses and on being re - captured was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found fit to race. DANCERESS (App Sujit Kr Paswan), STELVIO PASS (A Sandesh), EXPENSIVE AFFAIR (Neeraj Rawal), PRINCESS ELENA (Md Islam) and AL TO VI TO (App P Vikram) were fractious while being stalled. CHELMSFORD (Dashrath Singh) which was slow to begin finished the race detach ed from the field. Tr. Bharath Singh was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance. AL TO VI TO (App P Vikram) finished the race detached from the field. Tr. Patrick Quinn was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance. ARTISTE ROYAL (Afzal Khan) was inclined to h a ng ‘out wards ’ when placed under pressure during the final stages of the race. When afforded an opportunity to explain the performance of his charge ARTISTE ROYAL as compared to its previous run in Race No. 7 held on 4 th November, 2018, Tr. Jasbir Singh Stated that : - a) He had instructed the Jockey to place his mount in 2 nd /3 rd position and to do his best thereafter. b) Race No. 7 was for the horses Rated 1 - 26 unlike this race which was for horses Rated 21 - 46. c) T he gelding had received a 7.5 kgs penalty after its win in Race No. 7. d) In Race No. 7 its winning performance appeared to be very impressive as the 2 nd placed horse “ MOVES LIKE JAGGER ” has an extremely unimpressive record and in its subsequent performance in Race No. 15 run earlier to day had finished 8 th out of 12 in a race for horses Rated 1 - 26. e) C onsidering that the gelding now ran in a much more competitive field than in Race No. 7, he was of the opinion that his charge had run a very good race finishing 7 th out of 14 runners and had been ridden competently by the Jockey. The Stipendiary Stewards noted his explanations. |
