CAPO DE CAPI (Neeraj Rawal) arrived late to the start. Tr. ShyamS Habbu was advised to ensure that his charge arrives on time in future.

An enquiry was held immediately after the running of the race with particular reference to the fall of FABIENNE (App P Vikram) at the starting gates. At the conclusion of the enquiry it was established that the fall was accidental and no blame could be attached to any rider, hence, ‘All Clear’ signal was ordered to be hoisted.

Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of CAPO DE CAPI, when given an opportunity to explain the running of his mount stated that while exiting from his stall he brushed against the inner portion of the stall and lost his left stirrup iron which he regained after some distance. He further stated that he was of the opinion that the gelding did not require the use of a cross nose band (XNB) as it appeared to be uncomfortable with that equipment and that he had brought this to the attention of the Trainer. The Stipendiary Stewards made note of his explanations.
