Racing Incidents

ONEDERBOY (Ranidan Singh) which was fractious while being stalled was slow to begin.

Trainer Mr. Aashay Doctor when afforded an opportunity to explain the improved performance of his charge dk b g ONEDERBOY as compared to its previous runs, stated that :-

a)    The gelding has a recorded history of being slow to begin and on many occasions having lost a lot of ground at the start.

b)    The gelding has been receiving regular gate practice to improve its behaviour, the last practice was on 10.1.2019.

c)    The stable did not fancy its chances today due to the above reasons and was pleasantly surprised with its victory.

The Stipendiary Stewards decided to take no further action beyond noting his explanations.

The Veterinary Officer reported that ROYAL MEWS returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. Shyam Habbu was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.
