SHIVAYY (Md Imran) jumped awkwardly from the gates thereby losing some ground.

The Veterinary Officer reported that AMARANTHUS returned bleeding from both nostrils. Tr. R W Alford was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

Soon after the running of the race Jockey B Mahesh, the rider of b rig HAPPY RETURNS, reported that some distance after the start he lost ground when squeezed for room between ARTIFICIAL (App P Tejeshwar) and HURRICANE STORM (Dhanu S Deora) travelling on his inside and thereafter in spiteof his best efforts his mount refused to race fluently. Further on returning to the unsaddling enclosure he brought to the notice of the Trainer that the KNB (Kinetic Nose Band) had snapped. On questioningthe trainer of the rig Mr. Manvendra Singh stated that he had instructed the Jockey to place his mount in a comfortable forward position and to do his best. He alsocorroborated the statements of the Jockey and opined that the Kinetic Nose Band(KNB) having snapped may have had an effect on its performanceas it appeared that the animal had refused to take up the bit and race. The Stipendiary Stewards informed the Trainer that their observation of the breaking of the KNB in the unsaddling enclosure should have been brought to the notice of the Stipendiary Stewards before the rig had left the enclosure.Their explanations were noted.

App Rupal Singh, the rider of MODIFICATION, was reprimanded for shifting ground ‘outwards’ and causing inconvenience to ARTIFICIAL (App P Tejeshwar) which shifted on to HAPPY RETURNS (B Mahesh) some distance after the start.
