b f SORBONNE, a declared starter was examined by the Veterinary Officer at 12.35 P.M. prior to entering the saddling enclosures and was found to be lame on right fore. Under the circumstances the filly was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Sarfaraz Khan was informed not accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

dk b g BUDDYHOLLY (Jugnu Gurung) momentarily reared up in its stall resulting in a minor injury to the Jockey. Under the circumstances the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.

SWANLITE (Y S Srinath) was extremely fractious while being stalled. In view of its behaviour Tr. Bharath Singh was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

MY LADY LUCK (Asghar) was slow to begin.

Tr. Shafiq Khan when afforded an opportunity to explain the improved performance of his charge ROLLY POLLY (App P Tejeshwar) as compared to its previous outing in Race No. 2 run on 2nd November, 2019, stated that :-

a) The mare had run on 2nd November, 2019 after a long layoff of 7 months and hence performed not up to his expectation.

b) Thereafter the mare showed a lot of improvement.

c) He declared an Apprentice today claiming 3 kgs allowance which was an advantage to the mare.

He was pleasantly surprised with the improved performance.
