FEISTY (App P Vikram) was very fractious while being stalled. Tr. Manvendra Singh was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.

a) He was instructed to ride the mare from the mid bunch of the field.

b) The mare was inclined to drift ‘inwards’ and hence he used the stick to correct the drift.

c) He had ridden the mare some time ago and has made commentson the movement of the mare ata thenenquiry.

The Stipendiary Stewards after reviewing the CCTV replay of the racecombined with their observations from the patrol vehiclewhich follows the running of the horses throughoutthe race were of the opinion thaton entering the straight in spite of a clear run during the final 300 metres of the raceMr. Chouhan failed to make sufficient effort to take advantage of the same. The Stipendiary Stewardsafter discussiondecided to fineMr. P S Chouhan a sum of Rs. 15,000/-for the “indifferent”handling of his mount.
