Trainer Mr. Vijay Singh was fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/- for accepting with his charge b rig YUVAN while under medication. Subsequently the rig was permitted to be withdrawn.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of ASMITA, reported that his mount was  inclined  to  hang  ‘out’ during the final 400 metres of the race.

Jockey Shezad Khan, the rider of ABENAKI, reported loss of whip passing the 200 metres.

Tr. C Alford when afforded an opportunity to explain the improved performance of his charge ABENAKI (Shezad Khan), the winner of this race, as compared to  its previous outing  in Race No.  109 run on 28th January, 2020 stated that :-

a)    In Race No. 109 it  was the filly’s first run under his charge over a distance of 1100 metres and  it performed poorly, hence he decided to run over a longer distance which suited the filly.

b)    After its poor run he freshened up the filly and this definitely helped her to run a better race.

The Stipendiary Stewards while noting his explanations advised him to ensure that his charges are run with a degree of consistency.
