Racing Incidents

ROSINA (Akshay Kumar) was slow to begin.

An objection was lodged by Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of INCA, placed 2nd by the Judge against App Rupal Singh, the rider of SHIVALIK SIGHT placed 1st, on the grounds “from the 400 metres he drifted out continuously taking my ground and came across me whereby I had to check my mount and change the course which cost me a certain race”. The Stewards after interviewing Jockey Suraj Narredu and App Rupal Singh, viewing the CCTV replay of the race and taking into consideration the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward decided to up hold the objection and to revise the Judge’s placings as under. Thereafter the “All Clear” signal was ordered to be hoisted.

INCA    -    1st
SHIVALIK SIGHT    -    2nd
ROSINA    -    3rd
RAQS SHARQI    -    4th

Further, as App Rupal Singh had been reprimanded earlier for failing to exercise proper control over his mount in Race No. 25 held on 12.12.2020 and Mr. Jasbir Singh, his master trainer had been advised to be discreet in allowing rides to the apprentice, Tr. Jasbir Singh has been advised not to declare the apprentice to ride in races until approved by the Stipendiary Steward since the apprentice has failed to mend his ways and improve in his finishing efforts.
