For parading his charge b g BRILLIANT GOLD without “Blinkers”, the declared equipment on the gelding, Tr. Shafiq Khan was fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/-. Subsequently the equipment was put on.

ISADORA (App Rupal Singh) was difficult to load, fractious in its stall and jumped awkwardly from the gates. In view of its behaviour, Tr. Shafiq Khan was advised to give his charge adequate gate practice before accepting with it again.

CHIARA (App P Tejeshwar) was extremely fractious and repeatedly reared up inside its stall. In view of its behaviour, Tr. Manvendra Singh was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work.

It was observed that the ‘hood’ used on CHIARA came off partially as the start was effected and was pulled off by App P Tejeshwar within a few strides. The Starter was informed to advise his gate staff to  be more alert in future.

HONEYCRISP (R S Bhati) planted, losing over a distance at the start. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter.

The Veterinary Officer reported that :-

a)    BEMUSE returned with cut injury on left hind.

b)    HONEYCRISP returned with cut injury on left hind.

c)    MISS JULIE returned with cut injury on right hind.

d)    ISADORA returned with cut injury on left hind.
