Racing Incidents

Jockey Nazerul Alam, the rider of CAMELEONS IMAGE, reported that his mount was struggling to keep up with the field and despite his best efforts the mare had nothing much to offer in the race, was noted.

Tr. Bharath Singh when afforded an opportunity to explain the improved performance of his charge b g AFTER SHOCK as compared to its previous run in Race No. 20 held on 25th September, 2021 stated that :-

a)    In this race, the gelding was running in the company of “5 years old & over horses”.

b)    The equipment i.e., “Blinkers” was taken off from the gelding which may have suited and helped it to win the race.

c)    There were no common runners.

d)    Even the other runners in the race did not have much form to go by.

His explanations were noted.
