Racing Incidents

SICILY ( (A Imran Khan) was difficult to load. NAZAAKAT (App P Tejeshwar) was fractious to be stalled.

An enquiry was opened immediately after the running of the race with particular reference to the fall of Jockey Chethan Gowda (EL PATRON) soon after the start. At the conclusion of the enquiry it was established that the fall was accidental in that b g EL PATRON stumbled soon after the start, the rider getting unbalanced and being dislodged from his mount. Therefore the “All Clear” signal was ordered to be hoisted. Jockey Chethan Gowda has been rushed to the hospital for further medical management.

Passing the 300 metres OSWALD (Nikhil Naidu) brushed against the running rails. The Veterinary Officer reported that :-
a)    EL PATRON returned with left thigh cut injury.
b)    SICILY returned with cut injury on left hind.
c)    WANDERING ANGEL was examined and found to be trotting sound.
