App Sonu Mishra (RHAPSODY IN GREEN) when questioned regarding his riding instructions, stated that he was advised to ride his mount off the pace, to stay on the rails and to do his best in the final straight. He further added that his mount received interference from ELITE passing the 200 metres when he tried to take the gap. The Stipendiary Stewards after repeatedly viewing the replay of the race decided to fined App Sonu Mishra a sum of Rs. 10,000/- for the indifferent handling of his mount in the initial and middle stages of the race. Master Trainer Dr. Anil Kumar was advised to give more explicit instructions to his apprentices in future and to ensure that his horses are ridden out to the best of their abilities failing which appropriate action will be initiated against him.
