Racing Incidents
At the request of Tr.Robert D’Mellow, COSMIC FLOWER was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. at 1020 hours on the race day (02/08/08) and found to be sore by the left fore leg due to painful swelling of the tendon, as such, the mare was certified unfit to race and hence withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. FIRE GOD (Akash Agarwal) jumped out awkwardly losing about a length at the start. After the race MANTOVANI was observed to have broken a blood vessel. Being a second time bleeder, the gelding is not to race for the stipulated period of 8 weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
