Racing Incidents
At the start, PRIAPUS (App S Zervan) jumped out awkwardly from the Gates. Jockey YS Srinath (RIYASAT) reported the loss of whip near 200 meters. Since the horse was out of contention and this being the first time this season the jockey had reported loss of whip no action has been initiated against him beyond reminding him of the notice with regard to the loss of whip. Two objections were lodged in this race. The first objection was lodged by Mr. Bezan Chinoy, Trainer of ELMWOOD (App Shammi Khan, placed 4th) against App S Zervan, rider of PRIAPUS, placed 3rd by the Judge, for knocking his charge at about 100 metres. The second Objection was lodged by App S Zervan (PRIAPUS, placed 3rd by the Judge) against Jockey Aadesh Kumar, rider of MING, placed 2nd by the Judge, the reason being that at about 200 metres, MING came on to him and tightened him which cost him the 2nd Place.
