After being stalled, STAR MOUNTAIN (P.Kamlesh) kicked the rear gates. The filly was taken out and examined by the Club’s V.O. and found to be sore by the left hind leg and had suffered bleeding injury at the left thigh. As such, STAR MOUNTAIN was certified unfit to race. GARARO (S.Sunil) was fractious and refused to be stalled despite all efforts. Both the horses, STAR MOUNTAIN & GARARO were withdrawn from the race before coming under the Starter’s Order. SNOW BLAZE (Neeraj Rawal) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainers Adil Dajee, Faisal A.Abbas and Dallas Todywalla have been asked to give their respective charge more gate practice and show them to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. Further, STAR MOUNTAIN has to be passed fit by the Club;s V.O. before next accepting to race.

Approaching 200 metres, SONEEYO (C Rajendra) shifted out on to PRONTO STAR (Y.S.Srinath) forcing his way, due to which PRONTO STAR was forced outwards and thereafter SONEEYO went across PRONTO STAR. The matter was reported to the Stewards who interviewed Jockey C.Rajendra and not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by him decided to suspend his Jockey’s License for 10^th September 2011 for Careless Riding. (Permitted to ride work/ Mock race). Further, he was warned for the future.

Jockey Y.S.Srinath (PRONTO STAR) reported that his mount was trying to run out during the race. Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

After the race, JOSEPHINE was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

After the race, GARARO was observed to have an abrasion on bridge of nose. PRONTO STAR and SONEEYO were found to be sound.

PRONTO STAR (Y.S.Srinath) was placed fifth and GOOD AS GOLD (Amyn Merchant) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.
