Racing Incidents

At the Start, HERZELIYAH (Kavraj Singh, dr.9) jumped awkwardly outwards and went on to KATRINA (C.S.Jodha, dr.10). ARSHAVIN (P.S.Chouhan, dr.3) also jumped out awkwardly outwards and went on to STYLISH STROKES (Shammi Khan, dr.4).

Passing 200 metres, ATLANTIC STAR (Dashrath Singh) shifted in and went across INSITE SOUL (Amyn Merchant). Jockey Dashrath Singh has been cautioned.

Near 100 metres, TWITTILLATOR (A.Sandesh) lugged in and hampered the running of HERMANN (S.Sunil). Trainer Robert D’Mellow has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the colt.

Jockey Akash Agarwal (DAREDEVIL) has been fined Rs.3000/- for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.

The explanation of Jockey A.Sandesh (TWITTILLATOR) that in the final stages of the race, his leg made contact with one of the metallic plates placed on the Inner running rails and therefore he had weakened in his riding effort was noted.

After the race, STYLISH STROKES was observed to have a cut injury at the left hind pastern and LAKE HURON had a gum injury.
