Racing Incidents

On arrival at the Gates, SYLVINIA was examined by the Club’s VO and found to be sore by the right hind leg. As such, the filly was certified her unfit to race and was withdrawn from the race before coming under the Starter’s Order. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

At the start, BY THE WAY (V.Phadke) jumped out awkwardly outwards.

Approaching 800 metres, SAVAGE GARDEN (Akash Agarwal) was steadied while racing behind BEEMER (M.A.Roushan).

Jockey Akash Agarwal (SAVAGE GARDEN) has been cautioned for allowing his mount to shift in under the use of the whip in the straight.

After the race, THE SAINT was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is no to race for the stipulated period of 4 weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

After the race, BEEMER was observed to have a cut injury at the right hind fetlock. ARABIAN EMPIRE and BY THE WAY were found to be sound.
