Racing Incidents

Jockey Ishwar Pardeshi (APACHE INDIAN) has been fined Rs.1000/- for improper use of the whip wherein he persisted with the use of the whip with his right hand as his mount drifted outwards under the use of the whip and in the process went across MOUNTAIN FORCE (J.Chinoy).

STRIKING GIRL (Shrikant Kamble) kept an erratic course in the straight.

Trainer Jayantilal K.Gor was questioned regarding the comparative performance of his charge APACHE INDIAN which the gelding won as compared to its previous run in Race No.46 run on 11thAugust 2012.  The Trainer explained that in the previous race the gelding was drawn-12 and had jumped from uneven ground and stumbled and lost ground. He said that his Instructions on both the occasions were to go to the front. However, in the previous race the Jockey could not follow the Instructions. He added that the horse was at longer odds. The explanation has been noted.

After the race, APACHE INDIAN was found to be sound.
