O’PRINCESS (Akash Agarwal) jumped out awkwardly, losing about 3 lengths at the start. Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

App.Prabhu Naidu (ARABIAN FIGHTER, dr.10) has been cautioned for shifting in before the Red Marker.

Soon after the start, STAR STORM (B.Sreekanth, dr.9) shifted in and interfered with NANINA (C.S.Jodha, dr.8) who was tightened on to ASHWA YODHAA (Amyn Merchant, dr.7). Jockey B.Sreekanth has been fined Rs.2000/- for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

STAR STORM (B.Sreekanth) who had shifted in after the start, shifted outwards due to the presence of SOLID ROCK (Nirmal Jodha) and caused ARABIAN FIGHTER (App.Prabhu Naidu) to shift out, who in turn forced MACHALA (Imran Chisty) to travel wide.

Jockey B.Sreekanth (STAR STORM) reported that his mount lugged out during the race. Trainer Karthik G. has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.

Trainer Karthik G. was questioned regarding the poor performance of STAR STORM. The Trainer stated that the filly had run a good Mock race in which she had not hung out, on the basis of which he had fancied her and he was disappointed with her performance. He added that he was unable to point out any specific reason for the poor performance except that the horse was hanging out and did not show any interest in this race. To another question, he added that the filly was sound after the race. The explanation was noted for future reference.

After the race, NANINA was found to be sore by the left hind leg and also had a cut injury at the right hind pastern. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

After the race, STAR STORM and DANCING MONEY were found to be sound.

The post race urine sample of the winners of the  2^nd, 4^th, 8^th & 10^th race, viz. COMMANDER, ELENA, CAPRIOLE & WARRIOR PRINCE,  as also that of ALMA MATER & NADIA (8^th race) and the special sample of COLOURS FLYING (9^th race), were collected for detection of prohibited substance.
