The Sr.V.O. reported that STELLA played up in the saddling enclosure and sustained injury on both hocks. As such, the filly was certified unfit to race and hence withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The trainer is required to obtain a Fitness Certificate for the filly from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

FAJR (R.Shelar) was restless in the stall. ASHWA YODHAA (J.E.Pereira) played up in the stall and hooked one of its fore legs on the side platform. The gelding was taken out and examined by the Club’s V.O. who certified him fit to race. Trainers Faisal A.Abbas and Sangramsinh N.Joshi have been asked to give their respective charge more gate practice and show them to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

FAJR (R.Shelar) kept a wide course in the early part of the race. 

Jockey P.Trevor (MOON RAKER) when questioned, stated that his Instructions were to be in good position and ride his race. He added that the gelding relaxed in its Stall and was slow and thereafter he had ridden the gelding throughout the race.

In the final 100 metres, MOON RAKER (P.Trevor) was inconvenienced as WINDS OF LUCK (Vivek) shifted out from its line of running.

After the race, ASHWA YODHAA was observed to have a cut injury at the left fore bulb of heel. MOON RAKER and FAJR were found to be sound.
